Color study Landscape is a soft pastel Painting by artist Lisa Godin. This was part of a cloud study landscape the artist completed and the scene reminded her of the woods she played in growing up in Massachusetts. The color study was to find flecks of color hidden in the picture and highlight those colors.  She also chose to treat the tree branches against the sky as a stained glass effect.  The colors in this painting are beautiful and vivid and would brighten any room.
