Flowering Gum - Original Acrylic Painting by Artist Lisa Godin

The Flowering Gum is an Acrylic painting by Artist Lisa Godin.  This painting is 8 X 10 canvas paper in a white matted and gold frame, that has been gesso and veneered expect imperfections.  

One of the painting groups that I belong to had a challenge for all of us to paint from a reference photo and this was my take.  Since I've been painting more tropical-styled subjects I embraced those elements of the photo.  The colors of this bloom are spectacular.
