Turquoise Vase Red Flowers an Original Painting by Lisa Godin

Turquoise Vase Red Flowers is a captivating original acrylic painting by Lisa Godin that was brought to life by the artist's imagination.  I wanted to paint 2 florals: one with a teal vase and red flowers, and one with a turquoise vase and orange flowers, but the experiment took a turn when the vases were both turquoise, so I decided to press on and paint red vs. orange flowers; I could come back and repaint the vases.  Once both paintings were complete, I liked the vases enough that I didn't want to mess with the color.  Usually, when I do comparison paintings, I learn about process or medium preferences, or what appeals more to my buyers.  In this case, both the red and orange flowers look nice with the turquoise vase. 

This work would look good in a bedroom, family room, or hallway.  It has a limited color palette, so it should add a pop of color to whatever room you display it in, without competing with the other decor.  This painting makes a great gift that will not be duplicated for the woman who is hard to buy for.
