Well Worn Teapot is an original painting by Lisa Godin.  As soon as she saw this chipped, dusty teapot with all shades of green she knew she had to paint it.  Her art is deeply inspired by her Memere whose life was a French country palette.  Her grandmother loved decorating, even on a limited budget, and her art was cross stitch.  The colors she favored, chartreuse, sienna, ochre, French blue and blush are the artists staple palette.  Her beloved Memere’s passion for art, color and texture influences all their families’ homes, clothing and now Lisa’s art.

The teapot is the star of this painting, but the terracotta background and lemon are also beautiful. There is a lot to explore in this piece, making it perfect for discerning collectors and art lovers.
